WHY DO I LIKE FOREIGN MUSIC??
To tell you the truth i hate the way american music industry treats its talent....there are more 1 hit wonders right now than i care to think about....bands like *N sync are crammed down your throat by 12 year old girls on TRL that seem to make up the 'entire' music world.....

thats why i listen to bands from other countries....i love german, scandanavian, and japanese metal....I also like the lighter sounds of japanese pop music....it is far more melodical and electronic than crap like britney spears...

MALICE MIZER

(funny thing is that they are all guys)

Malice Mizer is a Japanese Gothic band, its style is based on Classical Music, with Organs, Acoustic Bass, Violins, and lots of other old instruments.
they are much more talented than most musicians because they can not only play rock, but spooky classical music too.......

The band's members are Mana on Guitar (front), Klaha on Vocals(back), Kozi on Guitar(left) and Yu-ki on Bass(right)

A good song that you should try to download is "beast of Blood" it has a harpsicord playing along with industrial drums and guitar:)

IN EXTREMO

IN EXTREMO are a Heavy Rock band with a very strong Middle-Age influence. In fact, they use a lot of traditional instruments such as bagpipes, tambourines, mandoline and others. They use a very 'Rock song' structure but infuse it with some pretty heavy riffs to make it more interesting...

this is the first band i've heard that used bagpipes that didn't sound crappy. the bagpipes are almost better than most guitar riffs i've heard.

whats weird is that the actually sing most of their songs in an old german language that is no longer used....in fact most of their songs are old middle ages pub songs or chants put to a metal beat...
